Your support, their future

At Glynviah Roots Foundation, your contribution transforms lives. Discover how you can directly help children access education, empower families towards self-reliance, and strengthen communities to break cycles of poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa Countries

Ways to support our mission

There are several meaningful ways you can support the Glynviah Roots Foundation, depending on your capacity and interests. Every form of support—whether financial, practical, or through time and advocacy—helps us create safe learning spaces, empower families, and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Financial donations

Your financial donations are crucial for securing our school site, sponsoring children’s education, supporting boarding and day school costs, and funding community empowerment programmes like entrepreneurship and digital skills training. Regular giving and child sponsorships enable sustainable planning.

Volunteer your skills

We welcome volunteers and mentors who can share their expertise. This includes teachers, coaches, digital and ICT trainers, business mentors, and creatives passionate about working with children, youth, and women. Both in-person and remote support are invaluable.

Partnerships & in-kind

We highly value partnerships and in-kind contributions such as educational materials, sports equipment, ICT resources, furniture, or professional expertise. Organisations and individuals can also fundraise, advocate, or share our story within their networks.

See the impact of your generosity

Your support creates real, visible, and lasting change for children, families, and communities in Kenya. We want you to feel hopeful, inspired, and confident that your involvement—whether through donations, volunteering, or advocacy—has a meaningful and lasting impact.

Our urgent priorities

The most urgent projects we currently need support for focus on creating a secure foundation for education. Our top priority is securing and protecting the land for Glynviah Roots Academy through fencing and site preparation. This is essential to safeguard the land and provide a safe, permanent base for education and community programmes.

Building brighter futures

Alongside land security, we urgently need support for constructing school facilities, including classrooms, boarding spaces, and sanitation. We also seek funding for education sponsorships for orphaned and vulnerable children, and for key community programmes such as youth sports, digital skills training, women’s entrepreneurship, and parent livelihood initiatives. Support for any of these priority areas ensures lasting impact.
